Administrative Assistant

The successful candidate will be a hardworking, pro-active and detail-oriented multitasker, with excellent administrative skills and the capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment. 

This individual will be responsible for all Retail Division administrative duties including assistance to the Retail Administrator, and Retail Customer Service Coordinators.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answers telephone call, email and faxes 

  • Maintain customer and contact lists

  • Pulling and shipping samples for customers and/or sales representatives

  • Process tradeshow and event kits including labeling, pulling samples, merchandise material, and packaging and shipping per assigned accounts

  • Assisting with the processing of monthly commissions for sales representatives

  • Following up with daily customer inquiries from websites and documenting customer complaints per the division SOP

  • Maintain individual customer sales and spec sheets monthly

  • Manage and track donations

  • Generation of reports

  • PowerPoint Presentations for customers and/or sales representatives

  • Assisting with the organization and planning of meetings

  • Order and maintenance of office supplies

  • Other administrative duties as assigned


Required Skills & Abilities:

  • To be successful in this role one will need to be computer proficient

  • Have a keen eye with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a problem solver, and a willingness to learn the consumer products business


Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of HS Diploma

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment

  • Reliable

  • Flexible

  • Able to work with little supervision

  • MUST be Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of siting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
