Director of Warehousing & Logistics
The Warehouse & Logistics Director will be responsible for all aspects of the warehousing and logistical functions of the business. This role would report directly to the Executive leadership of the company and would have full control and responsibility for these functions with the goal of managing the entire order cycle to ensure complete customer satisfaction and maintain company profitability.
This position is a hands-on role that will require a significant investment in the development of processes and procedures, hiring and training the right staff, organizing the warehouse function, and helping the organization develop a world-class experience for our customers.

Supervisory Duties:
Manage staff of warehouse
Coordinate with direct reports to review all inventory needs and stock inventory
Duties & Responsibilities:
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, and process shipments
Resolve any arising problems or complaints
Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate warehouse workforce
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Prepare accurate reports for upper management
Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Proven working experience in a similar role
Record of successful distribution and logistics management
Required Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a field such as Supply Chain or Business required. Graduate degree is preferred
7 + years of senior management experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and stand for long periods of time
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, finger, grasp, feel, and use repetitive motion
The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions, such as in a typical warehouse
This role can be physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to fifty (50) Pounds
