Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervising Housekeeping staff
Industrial hygiene (IAQ, investigations, sampling, monitoring, assessments)
Health and safety code compliance officer
Responsible for OSHA requirements (logs, postings)
Developing and delivering EHS/Occupational Health and Safety training (RLS)
EHS assessments/general program compliance audits
Regulatory/PSM compliance
Occupational safety surveys/inspections
Workstation ergonomic evaluations with support from other ergonomic staff
Environmental issues (air, wastewater, hazardous waste)
Required Skills & Abilities::
Coordinates compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Environmental, Health, and Safety management
Coordinate Workman’s Compensation, included claim filing, processing, and transporting of employees to seek medical attention
Maintain relevant EHS logs and documentation
Coordinate the purchase, proper use, maintenance, and inspection of necessary safety and personal protective equipment
Prepare applicable EHS reports as necessary
RLS coordination and makes recommendations to facility management on additional safety training
Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors
Assist in the development and presentation of relevant EHS training and certification programs with a safety team
Observe EHS regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel
Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies
Perform other work-related tasks as required and assigned
Comply with all Company and EHS procedures

Education & Experience:
Associate degree or higher in EHS
EMT certification preferred
2 years of related experience with PSM considered a plus
Must have a valid Driver’s License and provide proof of insurance
