Packaging/Production Supervisor
The main responsibility of a packaging supervisor is to ensure all products are packed safely and efficiently and maintain a sanitary environment which meets all food safety regulations. Hire, train, set responsibilities, and standards, supervise, and evaluate packers and warehouse workers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment: Studies production order to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments
Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications
Starts, adjusts, and repairs packaging machinery, or notifies maintenance department
Trains workers in operation of equipment
Requisitions containers and other supplies for delivery to workstations.
Analyze and determine all standards for packaging limes and ensure compliance to all schedule for processes and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively
Monitor and recommend improvements to process and develop and maintain all packing orders effectively
Coordinate with quality and warehouse departments to monitor everyday activities of units and ensure efficient working of both manufacturing

Education & Experience:
College degree or 5 + years of experience
Must have previous warehouse experience
Must be able to follow work orders
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand and bend frequently
May have to assist on the line, repetition is required
Must be able to lift to 10 pounds if needed
Prolonged periods of standing
Must be detailed oriented, hand eye coordination
